Rockfish
Rockfish describes a diverse variety of virid fish who absorb rock fragments or gravel into their skin for both camouflage and armour. Since both predatory and herbivorous species use this strategy it is a loose term. It is sometimes misapplied to virid species with armour or camouflage which mimicks natural rock.
