Ahtrey

Ahtrey is a small terrestrial world, second planet of the star Cordes in the Cronox System.

The Green Kingdom of flora and fauna includes humans, mammals, birds, whales, greenfish, and most green plants and crops cultivated by humankind.-brown, pocked with crater lakes and shallow, mineral-rich seas thick with mats of simple protozoa. The seas are transient, depending on season and seismic activity.

The atmosphere is moderately dense with high levels of carbon dioxide, dimethyl sulphide and sulphur dioxide, making it unable to support more than the most simple life. It is often full of fine dust lifted from the desert regions, giving the atmosphere a permanent yellow tinge.

Although inhospitable to human life Ahtrey has many sealed settlements, prospering from mining and manufacturing.

Ahtrey has a large airless moon, Dantor. It is a neutral centre for trade and diplomacy, and the home of the Cronoxi Syndicate, the trade and legal body that regulates the systems. The moon has the most active spaceport in the system, with many prosperous underground cities.
