Imble have numerous uses to humans, since the trunks can be hollowed out like a giant gourd, and harden when fully dried. Imble have been used for canoes, musical instruments, utensils and particularly for house building. Curved sections from the trunk are cut into panels, pressed and left to harden, when they are used for wall partitions, roof shingles, furniture, and many other uses.

Since imble can only be processed quickly after the tree is cut, they are considered a product of coastal poverty, particularly in the region of Moritarr in northwestern Ororr, where the coastline is dominated by virid swamp.
