Ko-kway

The Ko-kway or Karmoken are the indigenous people of the island of Antyok in the Natorn Archipelago, a nation of the wider Asokway ethnicity. Historically they lived in villages throughout the island, mainly as subsistence farmers and fishermen. They were displaced from much of the island by colonists from the more advanced neighbouring island of Besoa, either forced into a marginal existence in the less productive lands of the east and coast, or used as labourers on plantations.
