Banshee
Banshee are virid gliding creatures with thin bodies and a very long wingspan. They are not capable of true flight, instead being gliding animals, launching themselves from tall trees or precipices and riding updrafts.

They are found in remote areas, particularly upland forests. They are omnivores, feeding off small birds, mammals and insects, but also viridplugin-autotooltip__small plugin-autotooltip_bigVirid
Referring to the Virid Kingdom of flora and fauna, toxic to human life. fruits and carrion. They are seen mainly at dawn and dusk, as they dislike direct sunlight and are not capable of flying in strong winds. In the daytime they nestle in the branches of virid trees, camouflaged and essentially invisible.
Folklore
They seldom attack humans except when injured or in defence, but their appearance induces fear and terror. Banshees are said to magically appear as the sun sets, flying in windows and stealing children. Another myth is them stealing the breath, or stealing souls.
