Golobath [GOL-oh-bath] is a ruined city on the River Kethel in the Anrel Isles. During the Little Ice Age it was an independent market city that flourished on trade. During the Long War its position on the marches between north and south meant it was regularly occupied by hostile forces, and the site of many conflicts and skirmishes.

The Natorn Sea is a region of oceanic ridge, separating the Polassirn Ocean and the Redeeming Ocean. Islands in the ridge form the Natorn Archipelago.
Etymology
The name may be derived from ancient Ahngrit, meaning “near/of our birth”, referring to the legend of the Godmen in which humanity is said to have originated in region now lost beneath the sea. It also relates to the god.
The bloodiest of these was the Battle of Golobath in 221 ME, the earliest atrocity in the Long War, when Narettien forces massacred the half of the population seen as being sympathetic to the Northern League.
It is now just a ruined, bone-strewn wasteland in the demilitarised border zone between Trésard and Narette.
