Old Aralsic is said to have descended from the languages of the Godmen, particularly Atantic or Ahngrit. So little is known about these ancient tongues that it is impossible to be certain.

Numerous texts in Old Aralsic survived from this period in the great library of the Rasian Academy, though it is unknown whether they still exist following the destruction of the city during the Long War.

All languages in the Aralsic language family are descended from Old Aralsic, but Manokiya, spoken on the island of Manok, is closest to the ancient original.
