Niqarit

Niqarit [NIQ-a-rit] is a city in the Sekalkot province of central Ororr. It is an agrarian market city sitting in a loop of the Blue Wiyel. It was founded as a farming colony supplying vital food and natural materials to the ancient Kingdom of Seqal.

Niqarit sits at the northern, downriver end of Lake Niqar. Historically the lake was the edge of Seqali expansion, since its treacherous muddy waters were a barrier to shipping. A network of irrigation channels water and bring nutrients to the abundant fields surrounding the city.
