The concepts of race and ethnicity in the Civilised World are complex, related to issues of history, geography and culture. Some theories of the origins of humanity claim that all humans are descended from a single group of original ancestors, while others believe mankind is made up of distinct races with separate origins. History

The Gaal claimed descent from Eloyoun-ethnic ancestors who left Miyarris around 3000 BME, settled in the gentle uplands of what today is northeastern Ororr and intermarried with the local Thalsic population. T

The Gaals were a matriarchal culture, ruled by a council of powerful women who rose to their position through various trials and elections amongst each tribe. The matriarchs were both practical leaders and priestesses, since women controlled the mysteries of fire and birth. They used this to hold authority over their male warriors.

Gaal society was regarded as unnatural by the surrounding tribes in the Cavann Hills, and in early history the Gaals were constantly threatened by war. In response the matriarchs crafted from their menfolk a small but elite force of warriors, who were all but unstoppable and eventually won victories over the tribes and smaller city-states in the region, so that their tribal homelands grew to become the Gaal Empire.

Etymology

Gaal derives from “kaheertahk”, the Mayápo word for “noble people”.
