topics sidebar cult1 of the Gaal people. Gaalkim is a Thalsic language with elements of Iskean, possibly an offshoot of an earlier proto-Iskean tongue. It survives in many inscriptions and some surviving texts, though it became extinct as a spoken language probably by 1800 BME, and as a written language some time after, replaced by Doroun.
Nevertheless Doroun has many words deriving from Gaalkim, particularly words related to religion philosophy and concepts of rulership and government.
