The interregnum was a period of violence, bloodshed, civil strife and endless wars of rebellion. The hardened general Gebjon Galrenidh ruled in relative stability for the final seventeen years of the period. His heir and successor, his nephew Gebjon Vequidch, reformed the government and led a new period of expansion, founding the new Empire of Dor-en-Sann.
