Kas-fruit

Kas-fruit is the red or yellow fruit of the kasflower, a perennial flowering plant or bush believed to be native to Anrel.

It is found growing throughout the Mainland, particularly in the wilder regions of Trésard. Kasflowers are a vibrant purplish pink, with long, elegantly bell-shaped petals. The flowers produce small, solanaceous fruits with a sweet flesh and a lightly floral aroma.

Kas-flowers are commonly considered to be virid, since they thrive in poor soils, cracks in rocks, and amongst undergrowth in viridplugin-autotooltip__small plugin-autotooltip_bigVirid

Referring to the Virid Kingdom of flora and fauna, toxic to human life. woodland. As such they are subject to virid taboo in the Anrel Isles, considered to be poisonous and treated as invasive weeds to be rooted out.
