Isjbela (or Esjbela) is the capital city of Hesjbagaaia in Munatan, a wealthy port for trade, seat of the kings of Hesjbagaaia and heart of the Heterodox Church.
The city lies on the eastern shore of Isjbela Bay, an inlet of the Limerent Sea with a large natural harbour. Esjbela was born the elder daughter of King Rodorigo II, and dedicated her life to good works, helping the poor, and to promoting the Heterodox Church. For most of her life she was determined to remain unmarried, but as her father aged and her married brother Prince Rodorigo failed to sire any children, she was pressured into marrying to produce an heir for the still nascent dynasty.
