Hevuold

Hevuold is a historic settlement on the island of Besoa. It was formerly Hebol, the royal capital of the ancient Kingdom of Heronbar, but is now primarily a market town for the surrounding farmlands. It is noted for its textile weaving, particularly for ovorn wool and linen.

Hevuold sits in a strategic position on a low fortified hill, surrounded by farmland. In former times it was a wealthy city in a secure position, but its hilltop position limited its growth. After the downfall of Heronbar, it became a sleepy backwater.
