Pishan
Pishan (also Mashan, historically Pishahn), is an important provincial city, capital of the Nashandt cordrome of Harthera. Historically it was the capital of the Grand Palatinate of Saloya.

Saloyan is an Eloyoun language, the principle language of the former Grand Palatinate of Saloya in northeastern Anásthias. A great many dialects existed, several of whom are still spoken in the Salyoan highlands. The majority of people in the region now have Hartraan as their first language.

The Eloyoun people are an ethnic group found throughout eastern and northeastern Anásthias. They are the majority ethnicity in Kahtoyn and most of southern Harthera. Modern Hartheran language and culture is a blend of Eloyoun and Iskean.
The Eloyoun people claim descent from the ancient realm of people who inhabited the region in the 9th century BME. With the rise of the Palatinate, it became known as Pishahn. After the conquest of Saloyan by Junda and Chelidt in the 1st century, it was renamed Mashan or Mashann. This remained its official name for centuries, though local people continued to use the old name. In the 10th century it was officially renamed Pishan, since that's what most people called it anyway.
