Tibooyo Cascades
The Tibooyo Cascades are a series of dramatic cataracts on the lower reaches of River Wiyel, where the river drops over 200m. The cascades are not a single waterfall, but a long stretch of white water running downhill through rocks and pools.
The cascades are impassable to shipping, hence above the cascades the river is called the Great Wiyel, and below it the Lower Wiyel. Historically they formed the natural frontier between the region of Remel, and the coastal territory of Toborr.
