Vainglorious Revolution
The Vainglorious Revolution of 571 ME was a military coup which overthrew the Hartheran Commonwealth. It ended the effective oligarchy of the kingship and the old Saloyan aristocracy, with the intent of putting power into the hands of the common people. In practice this meant the wealthy merchant classes, and the military domination of the Terath family.
