Ania Plateau Ania Plateau The Ania Plateau [AH-nee-uh, 'ɑːniə] is an upland plateau in the southwest of Narette, in the Anrel Isles. The land is fertile and well-drained, home to the majority of Narette's population and agriculture. The easiest route up to the Plateau is via Binid in the south, where the escarpment is much lower, and a succession of low slopes make vehicle traffic much easier to traverse.

Edge Lands Edge Lands The Edge Lands are the mytho-geographic lands, said to lie beyond the four oceans surrounding the Civilised World. They were named by the ancient Miyarrain. Zahkdarret lies to the west of Anásthias, and Retzayk to the east. The cold north is called the Icerealm, the south being the Icehorns. These names are used in official maps and academic works, but little used in everyday speech.

The name possibly derives from a ancient Thalsic, meaning “Land of One Sun”, since the daystar is not visible in the southern hemisphere.
