The Occident is the area of the continent of Anásthias west of the Dun Jaen mountains. Historically this meant the old Empire of Dor-en-Sann, as well as the many other nations west of the mountains before the founding of modern Ororr. Contemporary Ensanni writers occasionally used the term to refer to the relatively wild and less inhabited west coast of AnásthiasOrorrOrorrOrorr folk tales and philosophic treatises dating from before the founding of Ororr, judged to be compatible with the teachings of the Great Prophet Therion. The tales all contain a universal moral or instructive lesson.

Ororr [o-ROARR, ɒ̝rɔ'ɾ], also called the Holy Motherland of Ororr, is a theocratic nation in Anásthias, one of the world's great powers. The Analect first began to be compiled after the conquest of Gaalkedch, when disciples of the Great Prophet were ransacking the libraries of the old Imperial Church and deciding what to keep. A great deal of material was destroyed, but attempts were eventually made to reconcile many of the stories - particularly folk tales which were widely known orally - with the new religion.

The Mother Of All Aspects was the Supreme Goddess of the religion of the ancient Empire of Dor-en-Sann. It was officially called the Church of the Mother of All Aspects, more often simply called the Imperial Religion.

A small amount of texts in the Analect are also found in the Synopsic Gospels of the Heterodox Church, though most Therists deem the Gospels to be a ragbag of heresy and nonsense.
