Imperial Doroun architecture was highly ornate, with sculpture of gods, spirits, historic and mythic characters playing an important part. Architecture was intended to impress imperial subjects with the wealth of those who built it. The new Church-State was meant to be for the people, and the chief innovation was the pandata, a new type of building which was both a place for worship and the social and administrative hub of the community. The style of early pandatas was elegant and functional, often circles, lines and triangles, decorative but not ornamented. This Classical style of Ororran architecture owed much to the Golden Ordinance of Miyarris, following the graceful and harmonious ratios found in nature.
