In a time of cataclysm, with floods and storms laying waste to the coastal Issid Block Statesplugin-autotooltip__small plugin-autotooltip_bigIssid Block States

The Issid Block States refers to the ancient polities of the Issid-ethnic inhabitants of the lower River Wiyel and its delta, during the Celadon Epoch, c.10,000-7000 BME. They were part of the Issid Block Culture, so named for its characteristic architecture, pottery, and stone carvings., the outflow of refugees southward was seen as a threat to the inland states, many of whom moved refugees on after having their streets flooded with desperate people. This enormous upheaval of population sparked a series of armed conflicts all along the River Wiyel, hence the name Ves Jaen, meaning “Sea-to-Mountain”.

The Ves Jaen conflicts was therefore not a co-ordinated war between nation states, more a state of anarchy where refugee warlords seized lands and cities, before being toppled themselves. Very little is known about the period, since few records survived other than oral histories, which became legends.

Deltirot (also arch. Deltiriot) is one of the six self-governing regions of modern Ororr, occupying the southeastern corner of the country.
