, her younger brother Pirrin of Narette became king, but his rule was so unstable and scandalous that in 1113 he was deposed by the Royal Council, with Illieten as Queen Regent. She became full Queen Regnant in 1115, following the death of Pirrin.

In 1114 she married Prince Ralam Kenor Berill in a ceremony at the old royal capital of Himéath, showing her dedication to the history and traditions of Anrette, with assurances that Ralam would merely be Prince Consort with no role in governance of the country. The marriage followed years of speculation of romantic involvement between the two.
